This course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to diagnose, repair, and service automotive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding the theory of heat transfer, refrigeration cycles, HVAC system components, and modern climate control technologies. Students learn industry-standard procedures for system diagnostics, refrigerant handling, leak detection, and system recharging, preparing them for work on both conventional and hybrid vehicle HVAC systems.
